Built in 1989 to increase capacity and support our growing business, the Allendale plant employs 280 team members. More than 10% of its employees have worked at the plant for over 20 years.
Our journey began in Denver, Colorado, in 1950, when Mike Leprino Sr. started making mozzarella cheese for his family’s corner grocery store.

Originating in Denver, Colorado, we’re now a global leader. Leprino has manufacturing facilities on three continents and employs over 5,500 people worldwide.
Lemoore is home to two of our plants, including Lemoore West, one of the largest cheese manufacturing facilities in the world. Its size is equal to 11 football fields with over 640,000 square feet of cheese making capacity.

Located in the southern region of Paraná, our Tapejara facility specializes in producing high-quality cheese products to meet growing market demand in Brazil.
Situated in Portlaoise in the Republic of Ireland, at the heart of the country’s grass-fed dairy herd. This plant offers the latest technology in producing shredded, diced and string mozzarella in a variety of formats. The site has capacity to manufacture 45,000 tons of mozzarella, while using the equivalent of over 360 million litres of milk per year.
A mozzarella plant, producing a wide array of ribbon (block) recipes. The factory uses over 350 million litres a year, equivalent to 20% of Northern Ireland’s milk output.
Focused on shred and dice solutions for the foodservice sector. It uses over 250 million litres of milk a year, almost 20% of all the Welsh milk output.
The Remus facility has been producing condensed skim milk since January of 2024.
Our Waverly plant has been part of our network for over 30 years. On the border of Waverly, NY and Sayre, PA, the state line runs down the middle of the facility.
The Tracy plant has been part of our manufacturing network since 1977 and is in the heart of the Tracy community. This plant has made every variety of our cheese products over its operation.
Our Roswell plant is an exemplary model of our water recycling capabilities. All the water used by the plant is treated for irrigation use on cropland adjacent to the plant to grow feed for local livestock.
Our 10th U.S. manufacturing facility in Lubbock, Texas is under construction and will be fully operational in 2026. This state-of-the-art facility is being built with sustainability in mind and will be home to approximately 600 employees when completed.
This plant produces mozzarella and innovative dairy ingredients like native whey protein and micellar casein. The plant has many environmental management and sustainability features. It contains 120 miles of stainless steel piping and 250 miles of electrical conduit.
